Viterbo

Paris

In early 2018, Grancinha Viterbo was commissioned to design the interior of a penthouse apartment in one of the six towers at Reflections at Keppel Bay, the award-winning residential complex designed by Daniel Libeskind. Among several innovations, the development distinguished itself with sustainability and individuality. The six residential towers of varying heights are conceived for high-level sustainability and energy and water efficiency. (The development also includes 11 residential villas.)
In the dressing area, soft pastel hues tie the bespoke sofa, cushions and roman blinds together

In another bedroom, Gracinha Viterbo piles reading pillows with delicate patterns and soft hues to go with that of the wallpaper
The project comprises a 4,500-sq-ft apartment with four bedrooms and an ample balcony that is fitted with a Jacuzzi, and looks out over Keppel Marina and Sentosa Island. It also has separate spaces for dining, living, and lounging. The mezzanine floor is built over the main living area, but most parts of the unit feature a triple-height ceiling. Meanwhile, glass cladding maximizes the surrounding views as it draws in natural light throughout the space.

A couple months after the first meeting, the team presented its proposals. The client had wanted a traditional interior with classic features - a definite challenge given the building's modern architecture. However, with Viterbo Interior Design's expertise in recreating traditional European interiors an array of rooms that exploits the ceiling height and the stream of sunlight was created. They decorated the interior spaces with architectural details including wood paneling, and gold leaf painting. An exquisite layering of fabrics created a hushed tone and refined décor scheme.

The project was delivered at the end of 2018.
