For the month of August, make a beeline for Rempapa, where heritage food champion and custodian, Chef Damian D' Silva, teams up with next gen Singapore tastemakers

A meal at Chef Damian D'Silva's Rempapa is a mouth watering and eye-opening experience for most, thanks to a menu comprised of Singaporean favorites (think expertly made nasi lemak and fork-tender beef rendang), as well as forgotten heritage dishes, seasonal specials, and a colorful selection of kueh.

The Chinese set dinner is available on 6 August and is comprised of a menu specially curated by Chef Marvas Ng and Chef Damian D'Silva

For the month of August, Rempapa takes all things local and cranks it up a notch for a National Day celebration unlike any other. For two days, Chef Damian taps on Marvas Ng, Executive Chef of Path, and Vasunthara Ramasamy (Vasun), a former MasterChef contestant and the brains behind the Indian private dining concept, Cutlery Optional.

On 6 August, Chef Damian and Chef Marvas curate a Chinese set dinner served communal style. The menu features a unique array of dishes, which include a rich Collagen Soup, Steamed Golden Pomfret with an herbaceous sauce, and Asparagus with Sambal Juliana Beurre Blanc, among others.

This Chinese feast is a celebration of heritage and creativity, highlighting Chef Marvas' European training and Chef Damian's deep knowledge of local flavors.

This Chinese set dinner by Rempapa and Chef Marvas is priced at $168++ per pax for a minimum of 4 diners. Served communal style, it comprises 2 snacks, 6 main dishes, and 2 desserts. Available for one evening only on 6 August, Saturday, for 2 seatings – 6pm to 8pm and 8.15pm to 10.30pm. Book online here.

The Indian set lunch is available on 13 August and is comprised of mostly South Indian specialties created by Vasun, served alongside Rempapa side dishes

For a lunchtime treat on 13 August, Rempapa presents an Indian feast comprised of three thosai (claimed to be the best by many Singapore food fanatics) and three chutneys prepared by Vasun. This is complemented with three side dishes from Rempapa, in addition to an assortment of kuehs.

Highlights from this menu include the Kuzhi Paniyaram (crisp, ball-shaped dumplings with ginger, coriander, and green chilli) with Chutney and Podi, Masala Thosai, and Sri Lankan Chicken Curry.
