Audemars Piguet x Marvel

Audemars Piguet reveals their first iteration of its Marvel Super Hero watch series, following the announcement of their partnership at the recent Watches & Wonders 2021. Limited to 250 pieces, the Royal Oak Concept “Black Panther” Flying Tourbillon sports a purple colorway that’s inspired by the superhero’s Vibranium suit.

The watch is crafted in a white gold case and features the Black Panther on the dial.

Maison Marie

Maison Marie is a new European bistro cum marketplace that’s located at Upper Bukit Timah Road. The new venture, founded by Singaporean entrepreneurs, Charles Ng (ex-Culina Founder), Brandon Tan and Evelyn Chua, is conceptualized from the markets and restaurants of Europe’s streets.

The menu includes Mediterranean-inspired dishes such as the Whole Mediterranean Seabream, a surf-and-turf take with the Octopus Bolognese, and a European classic, charcoal-grilled prawns in homemade parsley and garlic oil that’s best dipped in freshly baked baguette. The same culinary ingredients can be found in the adjacent marketplace that’s stocked with premium products directly from European exports.

Should you fancy recreating the main course you just had, pop by next door and order your favorite cuts from the butcher, and top up on oils, cheeses, spreads and the like.

Park Nova

Park Nova is the first residential project by Shun Tak Holdings Limited in Singapore. The exclusive 54-unit residence is located along Orchard Boulevard, surrounded with lush greenery and other luxury high-rise apartments in the area.

Nyetimber x Shangri-La

For the month of May, Nyetimber is a special feature in Shangri-La’s high tea menu. The Rose Veranda presents a three-course high tea menu that’s specially paired with a tasting flight of Nyetimber’s three sparkling wines.

Start off with a glass of the Classic Cuvee along with an appetizer quartet, then a sparkling rosé with your prefered main course of poached salmon, grilled chicken or seared king prawns. Finish off with the demi-sweet Cuvee Chérie and a three-tiered presentation of desserts that includes a melt-in-your-mouth canelé made with Tahitian vanilla and mascarpone, and their signature rose-infused scones.

On Mother's Day weekend, there are two seating options available –
12:30pm-2:30pm and 3:30pm-6:00pm – with each set (suited for two guests) priced at S$88++.

PONY

PONY by Jigger & Pony is a series of bottled cocktails that’s handcrafted from among Asia’s best bartenders. The concept was developed to allow consumers to enjoy their favorite cocktails at home, and could arguably become the new BYOB for house parties.

The lineup comprises the Classic and Signature series, and have each introduced new flavors. The Classic Martini mix is crafted with Roku Gin, Mancino Secco, orange bitters, Amalfi lemon essence, and Buddha’s Hand essence, that adds up to be a refreshing drink best served ice cold.

The Cassis and Rose cocktail uses Suntory Chita whiskey as a base, and is added with Merlet Creme de Cassis, Haku Vodka, rose water, and Bowmore 12 Scotch Whisky, among others. One can expect berry-tasting notes and a surprisingly smokey finish.
