Cortina and Blancpain Present the Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Anniversary Edition

Cortina’s Golden Jubilee celebrations continue and partners with Blancpain.

Cortina continues its golden jubilee milestone with Blancpain as the second installment to its anniversary celebrations. The Swiss watch brand launches a special edition Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe in a two-tone rendition for the luxury watch retailer.

Available in a limitation of 50 pieces, the special 43mm Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe is forged in a titanium case and features its unidirectional bezel in Sedna® gold, a proprietary gold, copper and palladium alloy.

The further use of Sedna® gold is used in the hour-markers and hands, all of which are filled with Super-LumiNova®. A grey ceramic insert fits the complementing colour scheme with the markers outlined in Ceragold®. 

The sapphire crystal back of the timepiece has been printed with the words, “Cortina Watch 50th Anniversary Since 1972” in declaration of the milestone it has been made to celebrate. The watch is powered by the self-winding movement Calibre 1315 that provides up to 120 hours of power reserve.

Blancpain’s ongoing Ocean Commitment campaign is also presented in conjunction with the ‘Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe’ exhibition at the main atrium of Paragon Singapore, from now until 5 June 2022. The Blancpain’s Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Cortina Watch 50th Anniversary Limited Edition timepieces will retail exclusively at Cortina Watch boutiques.

In celebrating its golden jubilee, the luxury retailer is introducing several special edition timepieces with its longstanding partners.
