Set in the heart of Tun Razak Exchange, Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur, a part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, offers a design-led stay with comfortable rooms, destination dining and plenty of reasons to linger.

For Singapore travellers looking for a fresh reason to spend a weekend in Kuala Lumpur, Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur, a part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, makes a compelling case.

The Living Room

Recently opened in the heart of Tun Razak Exchange (TRX), the property marks Kimpton’s Malaysian debut, bringing the brand’s distinctive take on contemporary luxury to one of the city’s newest lifestyle and cultural districts.

The hotel’s design is rooted in its surroundings. Led by award-winning design studio Hassell, the interiors follow the concept of “Botanics Beyond Aesthetics”, drawing on Malaysia’s lush parklands through earthy hues, forest-green tones, organic textures, and plenty of greenery. The result: Polished but inviting, with the spacious, high-ceilinged lobby setting the tone.

There are 466 guestrooms and suites, many offering views towards landmarks including Merdeka 118 and KL Tower. Inside, monolithic surfaces and sinuous forms are paired with abstract rainforest-inspired artwork, tiles in bold colours, organically-shaped mirrors, and gilded bathroom details. Thoughtful touches include ARgENTUM and Penhaligon’s bath amenities, as well as minibars stocked with Malaysian treats like pandan gula Melaka granola, salted egg yolk potato crisps, as well as locally crafted Pasa Cola.

Food and drink are equally central to the experience. Tuai + Till brings together two distinct dining concepts under one roof: A cosy Malaysian café at Tuai and an elegant Western brasserie at Till, both built around farm-to-table and fermentation-driven menus. For something more casual, Rise & Grind is a contemporary grab-and-go espresso bar that combines third-wave coffee with the spirit of Malaysia’s kopitiam culture, including homegrown Liberica beans.

Then there is Four Siblings, the first spice-themed bar in Malaysia and the only rooftop bar in TRX, where the flavours of the historic spice trade meet Malaysian and South American influences. Sabato’s, a retro-inspired Italian-American restaurant, is also set to bring a dose of 1970s disco and Red Sauce Joint nostalgia to the property.

Beyond the rooms and restaurants, Kimpton’s signature social spirit comes through in the smaller details. Guests can join the daily Kimpton Kickstart in the mornings for Liberica cold brew, teh tarik, and wellness-focused drinks, while the Kimpton Social at 5PM provides an easygoing opportunity to gather over drinks, chef-curated bites, and conversation with hotel staff and guests.

Tuai + Till private dining room

With TRX mall and the district’s new urban green spaces right at its doorstep, Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur offers both convenience and a sense of place. For those planning their next KL getaway, it is more than a new hotel to check into – it’s a destination in its own right, and a fresh way to experience the city.
