Flowers take centre stage at Regent Phu Quoc this November, as the resort presents Taste Studio 2026: The Memory of Flowers. Taking place on 21 and 22 November, this signature experience brings together Vietnamese artistic talent, live music, and a specially curated menu.
Recently awarded a MICHELIN Key in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide hotel selection, Regent Phu Quoc draws on the Vietnamese philosophy of harmony among Thiên (Heaven), Địa (Earth) and Nhân (Humanity) for this year's edition.
Across seven acts, guests will journey through transformed spaces amid the resort's gardens and lagoons, where floral installations, botanical aromas, candlelight, and culinary creations come together in a multisensory exploration of nature and creativity.
The experience begins with Earth, where floral artist Rose Cao presents sculptural installations in deep, earthy hues. An award-winning designer who received a Silver award at the 2023 RHS Chelsea Flower Show for her work Light Dance, Cao will also demonstrate live bouquet artistry. Harp and flute performances set the mood before guests discover botanical cocktails by Director of Bars J Frank, inspired by Phu Quoc's natural ingredients.
The next five acts celebrate Humanity through the interplay of gastronomy, music, and craftsmanship. Under the direction of Executive Chef Francesco Andreoni, the resort's culinary team presents a five-course menu that explores the varied expressions of flowers, from delicate fragrances to deeper, earthier flavours.
Dishes include dry-aged hamachi with rose water and pink pomelo, binchotan-seared scallop with chamomile beurre blanc, and A5 Wagyu accompanied by koji, lavender, and cardamom jus. Wines from Champagne Billecart-Salmon, Château Le Conte, and Vega Sicilia complement the menu, while a live ensemble featuring harp, violin, flute, accordion, and percussion performs contemporary melodies in evocative arrangements.
The final act, Heaven, brings the evening to a contemplative close. Visual artist Pham Tuấn Ngọc will present works under the theme The Memory of Flowers, sharing insights into his practice alongside Lou Anmella-de Montalembert, founder and curator of Maison Jade Art Consultancy. Guests can also witness Ngọc's lumen painting technique.
Limited to 42 guests per evening, Taste Studio 2026 offers an intimate celebration of Vietnamese creativity, gastronomy, and culture against the natural beauty of Phu Quoc.
