If committing to Kelly Green chinos is a little too much, too soon, we suggest approaching the color with caution. Seek out pieces and accessories in lighter or darker hues — whether it’s a suede blouson jacket or something small like a textured card case.
An assortment of green-hued looks paraded down Sacai’s Spring/Summer 2018 runway show, which proved the lasting impact of Greenery, Pantone’s 2017 Color of the Year. While generally sporty, and at times conceptual (designer Chitose Abe did train under Junya Watanabe and Comme des Garçons after all), the lush looks sparked a green revolution, earning the color a potential spot in wardrobes of gentlemen across the world, which is usually dominated by the predictable trio of blue, black, or white.
