Bedroom staples get a boost from streamlined design, fine craftsmanship and materials, and high level functionality
Marquis Q Square is proposing new bedroom collections from luxury Italian furniture manufacturer Misura Emme. The collections, showcased at the Salone del Mobile 2019, consists of Palo Alto, Margareth, Milvian, and Lindo – each bearing an air of stylish modernity expressed through impeccable design and craftsmanship.  Â
The Misura Emme bedroom collections provide essential pieces that can transform any bedroom into a comfortable, chic and highly functional space. Comprising beds, wardrobes and storages, and side-tables, every individual piece has a distinct character that also works seamlessly with other pieces.
The Margareth bed by Carlo Marelli and Massimo Molteni appears light and delicate with slightly curving headboard and spindly legs that conceal reliably strong materials crafted with high precision and flawless design. The steel headboard is softened up with a fabric upholstery with hand-sewn seams that provide a sophisticated tailored detail; a matching fabric also covers the solid wood base. The exposed wooden legs, sturdy and solid, are delicately shaped.
The Milvian bedroom collection by Francesco Lucchese consists of bedside tables in two different sizes, as well as a dresser. The selection of refined materials assembled with skilfully results in modern pieces that showcase textures, colors and finishes to great advantage. The ‘Night group’ comprises a chest of drawers and a nightstand. The former has two drawers, while the latter has a glass shelf and a drawer. The drawers in both pieces have melamine Primo Fiore internal finishing. The side panels come in lacquered aluminum, its external structure and drawers in matt veneer. The tops are in matt veneer and marble. The nightstand has a transparent glass top.
Lindo by Carlo Marelli and Massimo Molteni is a nightstand with a delicate streamlined design that balances a large capacity front drawer and a marble top. The piece is propped up by thin metal legs fitted with a low shelf.
