Despite a short rain delay, almost all of the sold-out field of participants managed to complete their rounds. A silent auction, raffle draw and ‘on the spot’ challenges around the course further contributed to over SGD 200,000 raised on the day.
‘We couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome of the event, especially given the year it has been for everyone. It was truly heartening to have so many people supporting the event by playing, sponsoring and donating their time,’ said Gavin Weightman, General Manager of the Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa, Singapore, the event organizers. ‘Our sincere thanks to everyone who helped us make this happen and we are already planning for the next edition in 2021’.
