David Loh Surgery administers safe, effective and proven aesthetic treatments to improve and rejuvenate a person’s appearance. “We do not jump into the bandwagon just because other clinics are using it,” adds Dr. Phoon “Safety and efficacy are paramount.”
Facial rejuvenation is often accomplished by improving the texture, color and condition of the skin, tightening and lifting saggy areas, and filling up the hollows and deep furrows. Continuing research and development in aesthetic medicine has resulted in many new therapies. However, some people have embraced whatever new therapies are available without demanding proofs of safety over time.
“Long-term safety is of paramount importance when we administer aesthetic treatments,” explains Dr. Loh. “I have been in the industry long enough to see treatments that were the rage but eventually gave problems many years down the road.”
Dr. Loh performs non-invasive aesthetic treatments such as Botox, fillers, fat transfers, and threadlifts. Meanwhile, Dr. Phoon administers laser-enabled treatments to reduce pigmentation (Q Switch ND Yag Laser and Dual Yellow Laser) and to remodel the skin (Thermage, Ultherapy, Fractional CO2 Laser, and Sylfirm). She also performs nanofat grafting and cellulite subcision.
Both Dr Loh and Dr Phoon have published papers in journals for aesthetic medicine on the subject of filler injection techniques and filler complications management, including one that was named ‘Best Paper (Gold)’ by the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery - Global Open journal in September 2019. A year prior, they published an instructional piece on their injection technique in Prime International Journal of Aesthetic and Anti-Ageing Medicine.
Dr. Loh founded the David Loh Surgery in 2002; Dr. Phoon joined the clinic in 2013.
