There is no shortage of luxury hotels in Bangkok, but few arrive with the cultural positioning of Andaz One Bangkok. Opened as part of the sprawling One Bangkok development, the property marks the first Andaz hotel in the Thai capital and places guests in one of the city’s most strategically connected districts, just steps from Lumphini Park and Lumphini MRT Station.
The 244-key hotel occupies a prime address along Wireless Road, a neighbourhood that has long reflected Bangkok’s evolving identity. Once home to Thailand’s first radio telegraph station, the area today sits at the intersection of embassies, luxury residences, corporate towers, as well as some of the city’s most established lifestyle destinations. Andaz One Bangkok taps into that layered character through a hospitality concept designed to feel distinctly connected to its surroundings.
That sense of place is especially visible in the hotel’s interiors. Designed by Thai firm PIA, the property draws inspiration from Bangkok’s streets, hidden alleyways, and mid-century architectural heritage. Arches and curved forms reference landmarks such as nearby Vidyu Palace, while locally commissioned artworks, vintage-inspired details, and neighbourhood photography bring a more grounded perspective to the guest experience.
Instead of adopting a generic international luxury aesthetic, the hotel strongly leans into details that give it a distinct Bangkok attitude.
The property describes itself as a “Vertical Neighborhood”, with different spaces intended to reflect various sides of the city. It is a concept that comes through most clearly in the public areas, where the atmosphere shifts between venues. The result feels contemporary without becoming overly polished or detached from its local context.
Accommodation categories range from standard guestrooms measuring between 38 and 42 square metres to expansive suites including the 197-square-metre Presidential Suite and the soon-to-open 137-square-metre Poolhouse. Many rooms overlook Lumphini Park, offering greenery views that are increasingly rare in central Bangkok.
Interiors balance bold contemporary styling with softer residential touches, while practical comforts like Dyson hairdryers, coffee machines, blackout blinds, and complimentary non-alcoholic minibars ensure the stay experience remains highly functional.

Dining plays a major role in defining the hotel experience. At JÄng, guests can expect contemporary Chinese cuisine spanning Cantonese and Sichuan influences, alongside dim sum and seafood offerings prepared by Chinese chefs. The restaurant’s interiors take cues from the surrounding greenery, pairing warm tones with an open kitchen format that keeps the atmosphere lively rather than formal.
What’s more, Andaz Terrace functions as the hotel’s all-day dining and lounge concept, complete with outdoor seating overlooking Lumphini Park and the city skyline. The venue combines Asian-inspired dishes with afternoon tea programmes, tea-based cocktails, and Hong Kong-style bakery offerings, positioning it as both a casual meeting point and a destination in its own right.
The hotel’s signature rooftop venue, Piscari, takes a different direction entirely. Located on the 23rd floor, the Mediterranean restaurant is led by French chef Marc Vasseur, whose background includes experience in Michelin-acclaimed kitchens. The menu centres around coastal Mediterranean flavours and seafood-focused sharing plates, while the space transitions from restaurant to nightlife venue as the evening progresses. A rooftop terrace, DJ programming, and a hidden speakeasy add another dimension to the experience, catering to both hotel guests and Bangkok’s after-hours crowd.
Beyond dining, the property also places strong emphasis on wellness and convenience. Facilities include a 24-hour fitness centre, steam and sauna rooms, heated loungers, and an outdoor infinity pool overlooking Lumphini Park. For business and events, five meeting spaces ranging from intimate boardrooms to larger function venues support gatherings of up to 300 guests.
Its location within One Bangkok may ultimately prove to be one of the hotel’s strongest advantages. The integrated district combines offices, retail, residences, entertainment venues, and green spaces within a single master-planned development, creating a more seamless urban experience for visitors.
Combined with direct transport access and relatively quick airport connectivity, Andaz One Bangkok positions itself as both a luxury hotel and a practical base for navigating the city.
