The watch and jewellery world has been busy redecorating. From soaring duplexes to intimate salons, these latest openings show how luxury brands are carving out modern sanctuaries for their timeless artistry.

A. Lange & Sohne has always believed in small quantities for a small community, but you wouldn’t know it from its newly transformed ION Orchard boutique. Now a 211 sq m duplex, it stands as the brand’s largest flagship in Asia Pacific. The aesthetic leans modern and monochrome (reflecting the brand’s beloved palette of black, grey, and white) but remains comfortably plush rather than clinical.
The ground floor charts A. Lange & Sohne’s heritage and current collections, while a striking 9m “wall of parts” – presenting all 451 components of the Zeitwerk movement – guides visitors upstairs to a refined lounge, private salons, and a hands-on watchmaking experience area.

Given Jacob & Co’s reputation for watches that could double as portable fireworks displays, its first Singapore boutique at Takashimaya is almost demure. Tucked beside the newly refreshed Sincere Fine Watches at Takashimaya, the boutique pairs cream quilted walls with glossy black panels. It’s a calm backdrop for decidedly un-calm creations like the Astronomia Solar Dragon, Bugatti Tourbillon Baguette, and Fleurs de Jardin.
Its jewellery collections, which include the Love Lockdown and Rare Touch, round out the offering. And if you ever forget that Jacob & Co keeps half the world’s stars on speed dial, a feature wall of celebrity collaborators will jog your memory.

If any brand has earned perpetual rights to a black-and-white palette, it’s IWC. Yet the brand’s new ION Orchard boutique takes the opportunity to spotlight another signature shade: Miramar, a muted sky blue co-developed with Pantone and introduced with the 2025 Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41. The lounge is wrapped in this serene colour, echoed in a site-specific artwork by Singaporean visual artist Kelly Jin Mei. Comprising over 220 crocheted and ceramic components inspired by the Fibonacci sequence and IWC watch parts, it adds a soft, handcrafted twist to the brand’s precision-driven identity.

Beyond its cascade of 2025 novelties, Breguet found time to expand its presence in Singapore with a second boutique, a 138sqm haven at ION Orchard. The interior balances modern warmth and maison heritage, pairing American walnut and soft marble with guilloche-inspired carpets, fluted detailing, and the occasional wash of Breguet blue. For anyone trying to keep up with the brand’s anniversary-year momentum, this boutique offers something of a crash course, housing highlights such as the Classique Souscription 2025 (last year’s Aiguille d’Or), the Type XX Chronographe 2075, and the Tradition Seconde Retrograde 7035.

Also at ION Orchard, Van Cleef & Arpels unveils its first duplex boutique in Southeast Asia – a light-bathed space that feels part Parisian apartment, part modern greenhouse. With two private salons and generous natural light spilling in from its facade-side perch, the boutique offers an inviting stage for the Maison’s poetic timepieces and jewellery. It also gathers seldom-seen patrimony and high jewellery creations, including a 1927 Flower brooch and select pieces from the Treasure Island collection.
