To mark its second anniversary and Singapore’s 60th National Day, Art Again presents PASAR – a curated exhibition that explores the rich, everyday poetry of Southeast Asian markets.
Running from 8 to 17 August 2025 at Objects (51 Tannery Lane), the show features over 50 works spanning from the 1960s to the early 2000s, capturing familiar scenes of wet markets, street vendors, traditional produce, and the rhythms of community life.

Visitors can expect works from acclaimed artists such as Chua Mia Tee, Ong Kim Seng, Chen Cheng Mei, Teng Nee Cheong, Yunizar, and Lin Hsin Hsin, alongside lesser-known pieces that celebrate the pasar as both a physical space and a cultural memory.
In true market spirit, prices range widely – from accessible finds to museum-worthy collectibles – with guided drawing sessions and a closing reception rounding out the programme. Entry is free and open to all, from 11am to 6pm on most days, and until 2 pm on the final weekend.
