Hamilton has a great lineup that has it all. We’re talking styles and moods of all sorts, from the iconic military-inspired tool watches to the retro PSR that made its film debut in the Matrix movie last year.
This isn’t a mere gift guide – this is a checklist, a wishlist, and a bucket list all rolled into one.

If your wrist is reserved for the task-barking smartwatch on the nine-to-five, then it’s only rewarding to peel them off for the free-spirited tool watch that is up to go anywhere. Spend the weekend with the Khaki Field range, which introduced the titanium version in a 38mm size this year.
Available in three dial variations — black, khaki green, or grey — the brushed titanium case is accompanied with its corresponding colours (with the khaki in a brown shade) in nubuck leather. And while titanium keeps it pristine, the bronze version adds a unique flair. Depending on where you go and what you do, each Khaki Field Mechanical Bronze case gets to develop a distinct patina over time.
For those who are keen to tell a backstory, Hamilton’s latest mechanical chronograph pays homage to the military-issued watches of the 1970s, more specifically the chronographs Hamilton used to produce for the British Royal Air Force (RAF) pilots. We take a closer look at the chronograph here.

For Somewhere Out There
Hamilton is known for its connection with Hollywood and its watches appearing in films, so when the latest addition to the Matrix franchise was released last year (The Matrix Resurrections), Hamilton’s PSR got a starring role.
The PSR Digital Quartz is a revival of the original Pulsar, also known as the world’s first digital watch, so the watch carries a substantial amount of symbolism. Whilst the film’s version is a limited edition design in all black, the stainless steel LED-display recreation is closer to the 1970 original.
The Ventura is a film star in itself, having been a resident watch in the Men in Black franchise, not before being on the wrist of Elvis Presley, who first flashed the Ventura on the silver screen in 1961's Blue Hawaii.
The recent skeletonised iteration now has a lid on with a full black dial. The Ventura XXL Bright carries a hefty case (as compared to the other watches in this list) at 47.6mm. With a push of the button at 9 o’clock button, one can liven up the all-black visage with streaks of red, illuminating the dial and indices.

For Dinner Parties
Now for something suitable for the lounge, or stay-home Saturdays. The new Jazzmaster Lady Auto keeps it classy with a minimalistic mother-of-pearl dial and 12 diamond indices.
Until the bright green leather strap it comes with adds a pop of colour to your all-white ensemble at a Christmas dinner party. It would even go well with a sparkling silver number for New Year’s.
The Jazzmaster Open Heart bares its soul just for a bit through this smoky blue dial number. Underneath lies the self-winding H-10 movement (equipped with an 80-hour power reserve) where the snailed and pearled patterns are just visible. The same gradated look is adopted on the leather strap, in brown.
These holiday offerings from every Hamilton collection constitute a continuum of watchmaking heritage — and some of the most thoughtful gifts one could hope to receive.
