True to the hotel’s rebellious DNA, The Standard, Singapore fuses the brand’s playful, culture-driven ethos with the city’s garden-city vision. Conceived by Standard International’s in-house creatives in collaboration with Ministry of Design, and with architectural and landscape design spearheaded by DP Architects and DP Green respectively, the 143-room property boasts floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the immediate surrounding’s abundant greenery.
Meanwhile, the hotel’s signature aesthetic – which is a balance of refined minimalism and irreverent boldness through bold colour combinations and one-of-a-kind fixtures – makes for an urban sanctuary with an edge to be enjoyed by tourists and locals alike. Even the staff uniforms, designed by Thai label Shone Puipia, reflects this ethos, blending structured utility with playful textures and bold contrasts.

Steps away, The Pool invites guests to dip into a tropical oasis, merging resort-like relaxation with The Standard’s signature social energy.
When it comes to the rooms, guests can choose between eight options, ranging from the Cozy Single Pool View (which is the perfect size for solo travellers at 21sqm) to the Suite Spot Pool View that boasts high ceilings and a separate living area. However, it’s the Standard King Pool View room that will tick the boxes for most, given its comfortable size of 23sqm, complemented by relaxing poolside views and stylish custom furniture.
