If you’ve always wanted to know where your Blancpain timepiece(s) were made, the Swiss manufacture now invites you to take a virtual tour of its humble headquarters.
Located in the valley of the Jura Mountains in Switzerland, otherwise known as the Vallée de Joux, the quiet area is home to Blancpain. The virtual tour starts off with the green expanse of the valley where in the distance, the two villages of Le Brassus and Le Sentier are highlighted for you to visit.
Le Brassus is the small, original building that is now home to the engraving and decorating workshops. The backyard is a thick forest of greenery in the summertime, and snow-capped pines in the winter.
When you step in, you’re immediately greeted by an exhibition of select timepieces from its collections and some its celebrated movements. Explore the engraving and tourbillon assembly workshops, which provide 360-degree perspectives as if you were a watchmaker yourself.
The larger building in Le Sentier is where everything begins. Conceptualization, design, production, testing are conducted within these departments, creating the perfect Blancpain timepieces you know and love.
