Easy, personalized look that will make you stand out? A blazer is the answer

“The classic gentleman’s wardrobe was based on the heavy British suit, however, we believe that the suit is dead,” says Mr. Alexander Hascher, founder of Sacco, a principal purveyor of Neapolitan blazers. “Long live the blazer!” he exclaims.

Mr. Hascher says that the British armored suit has evolved into a lightweight soft Italian jacket. “These blazers have no lining, shoulder pads, or chest piece,” he adds.

Sacco jackets, which are sold in select men’s clothiers, are imported from Naples, Italy. Made of hopsack fabric by VBC, they are unlined and unstructured, making them a flexible anchor piece for any wardrobe. A piping in contrasting color inside the jacket, and corozo buttons in front and at the end of the sleeves are among its secret hallmarks.

“Besides being lightweight, another advantage of the Italian blazer is that it comes in a wide range of colors – the brilliant Colori di Napoli – allowing you to create your own individual look.

“You can mix and match this jacket with any type of outfit. You can wear it with your designer sneakers, a pair of jeans or chinos, and a plain, V-neck t-shirt. Simply put on the blazer to create your own style,” suggests Mr. Hascher.

It can also be worn over a shirt, lightweight trousers and leather shoes for a dressier look.

“And to complete your outfit, as a final touch, simply add a pocket square.”
