Featuring exposed movements, new dial treatments, and refined contemporary details, Breguet’s latest Tradition models continue the Maison’s longstanding pursuit of innovation.

For over two decades, the Breguet Tradition collection has stood out for its instantly recognisable design language. Defined by exposed movements displayed dial-side, the collection draws directly from the pocket watches created by Abraham-Louis Breguet in the late 18th century, revealing the intricate mechanics that are typically hidden beneath the dial.

For 2026, the Maison introduces a new series of Tradition timepieces that retain this signature architecture while introducing contemporary updates in colour, finishing, and craftsmanship.

Among the standout releases is the Breguet Tradition Seconde Rétrograde 7037, a 38 mm model distinguished by its striking all-blue movement. Featuring satin-brushed bridges, a shotblasted mainplate, and a hand-guilloché barrel cover, the watch delivers a fresh visual identity while remaining unmistakably Breguet.

At 12 o’clock sits an offset white Grand Feu enamel dial featuring Arabic numerals instead of the traditional Roman numerals often associated with the collection. Paired with a retrograde small seconds display and a blue rubber strap, the 7037 introduces a more contemporary character while preserving the elegance collectors have come to expect from the Tradition line.

For frequent travellers, the Breguet Tradition GMT 7067 adds a bold new dimension to the collection. Housed in a 40 mm platinum case, the dual-time watch is notable for its green-gradient Grand Feu enamel dial, a technically demanding achievement that transitions from pine green at the centre to deep black around the edges.

The watch displays local time on the main dial, while a secondary display tracks home time, accompanied by a discreet day-and-night indicator. In a nod to Breguet’s historical ties to the Ottoman Empire, the Home Time display is also available with Oriental numerals, reviving a design language once created for the Maison’s clients in the region.

Meanwhile, the new Breguet Tradition Seconde Rétrograde 7038 takes a more jewellery-inspired approach while maintaining the mechanical focus of the Tradition collection. Crafted in rhodium-plated white gold, the model combines a black aventurine glass dial with a diamond-set bezel and buckle, resulting in a watch that balances technical watchmaking with refined elegance.

The movement features deep black finishing alongside a sunburst guilloché barrel cover, showcasing the intricate decorative techniques that have long been associated with the Maison.

Completing the latest additions is the Breguet Tradition Seconde Rétrograde 7097, which introduces a white Grand Feu enamel dial and new charcoal-grey movement finishes.

The contrast between the bright enamel display and darker mechanical components gives the watch a stronger visual depth, while the exposed architecture continues to highlight the meticulous construction of the calibre beneath.

Together, the new Tradition models reflect Breguet’s continued ability to evolve one of its most recognisable collections without losing sight of its origins. By combining historic watchmaking references with contemporary materials, colours, and finishes, the Maison has created a new generation of Tradition timepieces designed to appeal to both seasoned collectors and modern enthusiasts alike.
